My Days in London

It has been two years since I was in London with some of my best friends ever! The whole experience was just amazing! Sometimes it seems like it was just yesterday. I can not believe so much has happened since then. But those 4 months of my life I was worry free. I had no stress of school, boys and life in general. It was a time in life where I figured out who I was as a person. The memories I made will always have an imprint on my heart! Little did I know that immidiatly after my study abroad I would meet Ben and start a new chapter in my life! SO Here I go... down memory lane of my last few months of only worrying about me(dont worry, I am oh so very happy worring about 2 other beings, my husband and my puppy!)
My family! The SCLOMPS(all our last name initials) haha
now we are the GRROMPS aka...3 of us are married now

Our neighborhood. It was so fun to be so close
to so many attractions and the hustle and bustle
of the city.

One of my favorite memories was taking my matrise around Hyde Park.
We were always doing mischevious things. NO museum was safe with
me and Lana!
The 6 of us went to Ireland for
a weekend and it was so fun. That city was
nothing but a drunken mess...a riot to whitness
first hand!!!

It was not suprising to always see me with a coke in my hand
and a snickers in my purse. Still holds true to this day!

My favorite place to go was Portobello Road. I went
there every Saturday morning to look
for old vintage jewelry. I sware thats where all
my money was spent...Besides Prymark! I never once went
into Harrods. I guess Im just not that high class!;)
One of the last things we did was go to Paris.
That was exactly 2 years ago. It was so fun but
also kind of sad because we knew we only had
one more week all together.
Paris is an AMAZING city!

oh yes...the famous gaurds!

      SOME OTHER FAVORITE MEMORIES INCLUDE.........
  •   Sharing a room with my best friends and skyping each other in the same room
  •    Being able to go to class in your pajamas
  •    Bus trips riding in the back always whining about how horrible the drive was
  •   Going to musicals(Lion King, Les Mes, Billy Elliot, Hairspray, Wicked & Olivar)
  •   Goofing around in every museum with Lana and comparing our bodies to those of woman in famous paintings. (Girls back then were fat!)
  •  Eating cheesecake from the local grocery store.
  • Me always having to go into every store(Just for a second) while all my friends rolled there eyes at me!
  • Going 1 1/2 hours to church every Sunday to be with my sunbeams! Most adorable kids I have ever seen! I loved being in the Nigerian Ward.
  • Seeing so many castles and cathedrials(acutally once you have toured one church/castle you have seen them all.) that is why Lana and I would alway find other ways to entertain ourselves. Like talking in Double Talk, which goes to  my next memory!
  •  DOUBLE DOUBLE TALK TALK....Lana and I went through a whole morning on one of our trips repeating every word we said. Everyone hated us that day. But we were laughing so hard. Especialy when I did it to my professor and it totally sounded like I was flirting with him"HI HI DR DR DURHAM DURHAM
  •    Singing french songs while in Paris bugging our friend Cortney to death!
  • Celebrating my 19th birthday with a coke in hand!

My list can go on and on. All I know is I knew I wanted to go on a study abroad ever since I was little and Im so glad I was able to go!. I am so glad that I applied while still in high school and went as early as I did. Only being 18 and going to a different country without your family really taught me some independence. I loved every minute and I tell Ben all the time that when we have daughters I want them to be able to go on a study abroad. I better start saving!!! The boys will just have to settle for missions! haha! And to every girl that I lived with, I truly loved all of you! I hope that the next reunion I will actually be able to go!

Special dedication to my SCLOMPS! I love you girls so much and miss you everyday! I am so glad we were all together and I think you guys are just wonderful! Thank you for still being my great friends! And thanks for being bridesmaids! Best bridesmaids EVER!  Love YOU ALL! Another road trip definitly needs to be in the making! New York is what Im thinking!;) Husbands not included! LOL...maybe they can come;)
