4th of July

This 4th of July we went to Marshall MO and spent it with Celeste/Miles, Jacob/Julie and Rachel/Michael. At around noon we went to Celeste and Miles house and had yummy lunch

and then got the kids all ready to go swimming. However just as we were about to walk out the door, it started raining. So the kids just played and the rest of us just talked at watched for signs of the rain stopping. Once the weather was good, we all piled up and went to the pool.

It was so fun to watch the older kids get excited about swimming and playing in the water.

They loved it. Lily, who usually loves the pool was really tired because it was during her nap so she only wanted to play in the water for a little bit. Ben at least wasn't to keen on getting

cold (the marshall pool is by far the coldest pool I have been in) so he

took care of her while I hung out with the girls.

After the pool, Michael grilled some yummy burgers and we enjoyed the perfect weather.

Bens parents came for dinner but then left while the rest of us went to the fireworks.

Marshall is a very small town but I thought the fireworks were pretty good.

Lily seemed impressed. For the first half she watched them in her carseat and then Ben and I

got her out and she kept jumping when the BOOM came. But I think she liked the colors.

Poor little girl crashed when we got home. She hardly got sleep that day.

All in all it was very fun and relaxing day and it was fun spending it with family.

I am getting very frustrated so if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

They download just fine on my facebook so I know its not my internet. They

just wont download on blogger. So these are all the pics you get.
